Eskom Uganda Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mohammed Mahsen as Technical Manager. Until now, Mohammed, worked as Maintenance Manager at LaFarge East Africa’s Bamburi Cement in Mombasa Kenya.

A mechanical engineer, Mohammed brings with him over a dozen years of experience in maintenance engineering, stock controlling, project management and planning, contract management, quality management system (ISO 9001:2000) and Loss Prevention Systems (LPS).

He has worked for Lafarge East Africa – the region’s biggest cement manufacturer in three East African states – in different capacities. He ‘possess proven track record in formulating equipment maintenance strategies while adhering to best practices, delivering results and successfully using the network of experts to find solutions to plant problems. A team oriented people manager with the ability to motivate others in achieving individual and company objectives.’

Born in Uganda 39 years ago, Mohammed has had an illustrious academic and professional career from which Eskom Uganda Limited is proud to tap.
